Visual and Performing Arts Academy (VPA)

The mission of the WTPS Visual & Performing Arts Academy is to provide all students with opportunities to engage in a variety of aesthetic and academic experiences that encourage creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
The VPA Academy offers 4 pathways in the arts:
- Music Ensembles (Band, Chorus, or Orchestra)
- Theatre
- Visual Art
- Dance
Each pathway provides a targeted and purposeful program designed to give students a sense of belonging in a supportive and creative environment. As a result, students will have opportunities to receive dual credit, academy designation for college transcripts, special recognition at graduation, as well as have access to real world experiences where they can develop career readiness through partners within the communities and possible internships.
The VPA Academy is open to all current 8th graders and 9th graders. The application period is open from 11/15/24 until 1/31/25. Apply today to begin your journey and be part of the TWP VPA Academy where #WeAreTWPArts!
